Sterculius, Stercutius

or Sterquilīnus. A Roman deity presiding over the manuring of fields. (See Indigitamenta). He is by some identified with Picumnus ( Serv. ad Verg. Aen. ix. 4; Isidor. Orig. iv. 11).
